Capital Building Campaign
Rich history. Vibrant future.
Your investment in Cedar Lake Camp will help children and young adults understand that God desires to have a personal relationship with them.
Cedar Lake Camp’s Board of Directors has approved a $2 million capital campaign that will enable us to better serve the needs of campers, families and groups year-round. A new pool and comfortable new multipurpose building will enhance the wonderful meeting and recreational facilities that God has faithfully provided over many years.
The plans include:
- A new swimming pool: The unique pool that has served Cedar Lake for so many years is nearing the end of its useful life. Estimated cost: $800,000
- A multipurpose building for large gatherings: This building will include a full-size basketball court, small commercial kitchen, bathrooms, new camp store, storage and utility room, and a pump room for the pool. Estimated cost: $1.18 million
Purposes of the building:
- Large group meeting area
- Indoor use for cold and inclimate weather
- Community outreach for sports and activities during off-season and our After School Adventure program
- Welcome center for summer camps
- Updated RV hook-ups for summer volunteer help
- Future Additions: Indoor rock climbing wall and use as a skating rink for the local community
An investment in God’s work
Investing in Cedar Lake Camp is more than making a donation to build new facilities. You’re making a difference in the lives of children and young people that will count for eternity. Your partnership helps preserve our rich history while paving the way for a vibrant future that will allow the next generation to enjoy traditional camp activities and understand what it means to know God personally.
We are committed to maintaining strong financial management and remaining debt-free, so each phase of construction will proceed only when we can pay cash.
