About Cedar Lake Camp & Retreat Center

Cedar Lake is a year-round Christian camp and retreat center that has been in operation since the early 1940s. Offering multiple types of camps for ages 5-14, there is definitely somewhere your child can get plugged in. While they are here, they will not only learn how deeply God loves them and how He desires a personal relationship with them, but also experience the joy of outdoor activities.

Camps Overview

We offer three different types of camps throughout the year for varied age ranges. This includes of summer resident camp, where campers are dropped off on Sunday nights and stay in cabins throughout the week. Our summer day camps offer campers the ability to experience the joys of camp without actually staying on the premises overnight. Instead, they are dropped off and picked up each day. We also have a Fall Break day camp and a Spring Break day camp. Finally, we offer a week-long canoe camp that features primitive camping on Geiger Island at the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake.

What Your Camper Can Expect at Resident Camp

Resident campers are dropped off on Sunday afternoons and stay in gender and age-specific cabins on the camp premises until Saturday morning. Throughout the week, your camper will participate in morning devotionals, scripture memorization and fun group activities that help build confidence and relationship with their fellow campers.

What Your Camper Can Expect at Day Camp

Your day camper will be dropped off and picked up each day between Monday and Friday. They participate in many of the same activities as the resident campers, but without having to stay overnight.

What Your Camper Can Expect at Canoe Camp

Your canoe camper will experience primitive camping on the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. They will participate in bible study, discipleship and scripture memorization along with a relaxed atmosphere and fun outdoor activities.
