We do all that we can to protect the health and safety of each camper.
- Cedar Lake is very fortunate to have several nurses who volunteer each summer. We strive to staff each week of camp with a nurse, and we also train our staff in basic first aid. If your child is taking medication, we are glad to dispense this as directed.
- We keep a health form on each camper with pertinent information and emergency contact numbers.
- Our summer staff spends a week before camps begin being trained to handle many situations. Our directors prepare them to deal with the most common cuts and hurts and to use the nurse as needed.
- All full-time camp directors maintain lifesaving, first aid and CPR certifications. We also encourage summer staff to get these certifications.
